The beauty of having a small City Hall wedding is you only have a very small number of guests. You don’t need to worry about - what happens when you invite one person and not another. You don’t need to worry about having enough space, full bar or cash bar, etc…
It’s all about having the closest people you have. Parents, siblings, closest friend.
For a photographer is a treat. I don’t have the whole day to create images. I just have 1 hour and my goal is to get as much as possible while keeping it true to the people’s personalities. I also feel like I’m a part of a very small ceremony and I want to be their close friend even if it’s just for 1 hour.
It’s exactly what Natasha and Colin wedding was. Only 6 guests (including me), walking around the City Hall, taking photos, joking, talking about life and in need of a drink to celebrate their wedding.
